American Veteran
The Disabled American Veterans ( DAV ), founded in 1920, is an organizations for American disabled veteran's organization. It currently has about 1.2 million members, all veterans of the armed forces and disabled in the line of duty during a time of war. This non-profit organization’s stated mission is to build better lives for disabled veterans and their families.
The group holds a congressional charter under Title 36 of the United States Code.
